I'm new here, what is next?

The Bible teaches us that we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God in Romans 3:23. We are all in need of redemption. Jesus came and gave His life on the cross to redeem us. We choose where we will spend eternity. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

All new believers in the New Testament were baptized in Jesus name by immersion. Acts 2:38 The Peter said unto them, repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in the newness of life.

KLF will host Baptism Services on the months that have 5 Sundays.

We also have Life Groups and many volunteer areas for you to join.

Tithing is the way that we support the local church and grow the ministry. The Bible tells us in Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of host, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Jesus is our greatest role model. He came to serve others. As we grow to become more like Him, we take on a servant’s heart. There are many areas in the church and in the Kingdom of God where we can serve others and reflect the love of Christ in our daily lives. Mark 10:45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

A life group is usually held in the home of the leader. We encourage that you meet twice per month. The groups are very diversified and take on a unique personality. They are all designed to promote the Mission of KLF, build community with neighbors and friends and further the gospel by being involved in fellowship, worship, and God’s word. Talk to a life group leader and start building relationships with God’s people.

After attending a life group for a few months, you may feel like the Lord is placing a desire in your heart to host your own life group. We encourage the multiplication of groups. This allows the church to reach deeper into our society with the Love of Christ. We will take you through a short training time and help you launch your home ministry.

 A life group leader coach helps to communicate and support 4 life group leaders. Jesus gave us the perfect model of building teams. Life group coaches have had at least a year of hosting their own life groups and understand the needs and areas that leaders need support in. It’s an amazing process to watch people and families grow in the knowledge and application of the word of God.
